Job summary

GXO Logistics in Swindon is looking for a Transport Team Leader to lead the transport operation at the busy B&Q site. You will oversee a team of drivers, agency staff and support colleagues to ensure safe, efficient and on-time delivery performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex transport environment.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-moving operation and plan effectively.
• Strong team player with excellent communication and leadership by example.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work as a team to deliver operational performance and maintain site systems.
• Ensure efficient planning and running of the operation, managing core drivers, agency staff and support personnel.
• Support Transport Shift Manager to ensure KPIs are met and targets are achieved.
• Collaborate with management to optimise performance and foster positive working relationships.
