XPO Logistics in Worksop is recruiting a Night Transport Operator to support our distribution contract. This role involves cost‑effective planning and dispatch of routes, with a focus on maintaining contractual delivery times and accuracy.

The position operates 4on 4off during night shifts, and the company offers benefits including a pension, discounts, and access to high street perks. A strong understanding of driver hours regulations and UK geography is essential.

• Knowledge of driver hours regulations.
• Good knowledge of the UK geography.
• Understanding of Health and Safety requirements.
• Ability to interpret financial information.
• Familiarity with operational roles within a transport team.

Mansioni

• Plan and dispatch routes to meet contractual delivery times and manage live plan changes.
• Analyze route cost-effectiveness and take remedial actions when needed.
• Carry out administrative traffic duties accurately and professionally.
• Coordinate with line management to optimise use of hire vehicles and subcontractors.
• Escalate vehicle accidents and record defected vehicles on traffic sheets.
