Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Nights Catering Assistant to deliver excellent service while meeting SLA agreements and cleaning schedules.

The role operates Sunday to Thursday, 9pm to 3.45am, at B&Q Branston (DE143FN), with a permanent contract and full-time hours totaling 31 weekly. Requirements include basic food hygiene and health & safety certificates (training provided if not held), and strong numeracy, literacy and communication skills.

• Prepare and maintain dining and service areas, including furniture, trolleys, and cleaning equipment.
• Serve food in correct portions and wash dishes, cutlery, and catering equipment.
• Clean all catering areas daily and follow health and safety standards.
• Handle cash collection, banking, and maintain records and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with customers, managers, and colleagues to deliver excellent service.

Previous catering experience in a similar environment (desirable).

• Basic Food Hygiene and Health & Safety certificates (training provided if not held).
