Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a Care Assistant - Nights at Pemberley House Care Home in Hampshire. You will deliver high standards of personal care, supporting the care team to ensure continuous services and uphold residents’ dignity.

Full induction and training are provided; DBS check is required and cost covered by Avery. You may need to be flexible to cover shifts at short notice, in a warm, supportive environment focused on compassionate care.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; induction and training provided.
• Must be flexible to cover responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care with respect and dignity for residents.
• Support the care team to ensure continuity of services.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene and maintain independence and dignity.
• Recognise and report clinical risks promptly (e.g., weight loss, falls, infections).
• Interact courteously with residents and visitors; uphold dignity and individuality.
• Practice safe working methods across tasks.
