Avery Healthcare is recruiting a Care Assistant - Nights for Poets Mews Care Home in Somerset. You will help residents with personal care and support the care team to deliver consistent, compassionate care across shifts.

Our induction ensures you gain confidence in your role while you learn our values of care, respect and accountability. DBS check costs are covered by Avery, and eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Experience not required, induction provided to build confidence.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrates initiative and respect towards residents and staff.
• Be adaptable and able to follow instructions from the care team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care to residents.
• Assist residents with hygiene to promote independence, dignity and respect.
• Identify risk areas (weight loss, falls, infections) and report promptly.
• Support the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents.
