Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful to residents and others in the home.
• Efficient worker who can carry reasonable instructions from other team members.
• Able to be flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care and contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents.
• Assist residents with all aspects of personal hygiene while promoting independence, dignity, and respect.
• Recognise and address clinical risk areas (e.g., weight loss, pressure injuries, falls, infections) and escalate where needed.
• Maintain courteous conduct towards residents and visitors, upholding dignity and individuality.
• Adhere to safe systems of work across all tasks.
