Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. is seeking a Youth Advocate Coordinator for our Juvenile Justice residential program serving court-involved youth aged 13 to 21.

The role oversees staff and youth within a structured daily plan, delivering comprehensive interventions in a controlled environment. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field, at least two years in the population, a valid Massachusetts driver’s license, and preferred supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field.
• At least two years experience with the population.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities for staff and youth
• Supervise direct care staff ensuring policies are adhered to and expectations are met
• Ensure safety and security, including security checks
• Assist in developing and implementing Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
• Promote teamwork among staff and youth, fostering a supportive environment
• Help youth identify goals and interests
• Cultivate a positive program environment
• Assign and lead daily group activities Serve as an advocate and role model for youth
