Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Cleaning and Waste Operative to work in a warehouse environment. You will clean and tidy all areas, manage waste disposal and operate cleaning equipment while adhering to Health & Safety rules. The role requires no prior experience as full training is provided.

The position is permanent with a night shift (10 PM to 6 AM), 8 hours per day and 35 hours per week. A Basic Disclosure check and potential drug screening may be required.

• Willingness to work night shifts and comply with safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all areas within the warehouse, including washrooms and canteens.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials and products.
• Maintain equipment and ensure it is kept clean and safe.
• React promptly to client call-outs and comply with Health & Safety policies.
• Manage waste disposal in line with guidelines.
