Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Cleaning and Waste Operative for a warehouse environment. You will carry out general cleaning, tidying, and waste disposal while using appropriate equipment and products to keep areas clean and safe.

No prior experience is required as full training will be provided; a Basic Disclosure Check may be required and drug/alcohol screening could be requested. The role is permanent, 35 hours/week, with a 6 am–2 pm shift pattern.

• Basic Disclosure Check may be required.
• Drug and alcohol screening test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all areas within the warehouse, including washrooms and canteens.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and products; ensure equipment is clean and safe.
• Assist with waste disposal and respond to client call-outs in line with Health & Safety policies.
