Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is hiring a Cleaning and Waste Operative to work in a warehouse environment. You will perform general cleaning, tidy areas, manage waste, and use cleaning equipment. Full training provided, no prior experience required.

This is a fixed-term role, 38.5 hours per week, shift pattern 18:00–06:00, 4 on/4 off, paid at £13.88 per hour. Benefits include holiday entitlement, pension contributions, employee discounts, cycle to work, and access to savings schemes.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all warehouse areas including washrooms and canteens.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and maintain equipment.
• Assist with waste disposal and recycling.
• Respond to client call-outs promptly and comply with health & safety policies.
• Complete required training and follow company procedures.
