Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is recruiting a Cleaning and Waste Operative for a warehouse environment. The role involves cleaning all areas, including washrooms and canteens, handling waste disposal, and maintaining equipment to safe standards.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided; a Basic Disclosure Check may be required, and you might undertake a drug and alcohol screening test. The shift runs 10:00 pm to 06:00 am, with a 4-on/2-off pattern.

Qualifications

• No experience required as full training will be provided.
• You will need to complete a Basic Disclosure Check and may be asked to undertake a drug and alcohol screening test.
• Able to work as part of a team and stay motivated in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all areas within the warehouse, including washrooms and canteens.
• Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products in a safe, efficient manner.
• Manage waste disposal and respond to client call-outs in line with Health & Safety policies.
