The Caraires Consultancy is seeking a Transport Clerk / Administrator for a night-shift role based at Rugby DIRFT. The position runs on a 4-on 4-off pattern, 7pm to 7am, with a temporary initial contract of 3 months that could go permanent for the right candidate.

Requirements include GCSEs in Maths and English, strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Excel), and a reliable, proactive work approach. Benefits include day-one pay parity with permanent staff and ongoing support from a Caraires

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
• Proficient IT skills with Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Methodical approach with ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure despatching and loading processes are up to date.
• Efficiently despatch deliveries with relevant paperwork.
• Use customer systems to update delivery information.
• Monitor the return of equipment.
• Direct drivers to correct locations on site.
• Coordinate with drivers via gate communication on site procedures.
