Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is recruiting a Transport Administrator for our Desborough site on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract. Salary £26,400 per annum plus £2,000 night shift allowance. Working hours are 4 on 4 nights, 6pm-6am.

The role provides admin support and data creation to support site goals and deadlines. Key duties include managing POD and Return processes, booking collections and deliveries, and liaising with depots and external contacts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Fantastic communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Able to manage own time to achieve targets.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the success of the site by ensuring POD and Return processes are carried out in accordance with site policy documents.
• Booking in collections for customers and completion of relevant paperwork.
• Booking in deliveries for customers.
• Investigate any collection queries.
• Ensure all paperwork is returned for all customer deliveries despatched from site, and chase outstanding PODs.
• Liaising with staff at other depots and external contacts.
• Photocopying, printing, organising and storing documents and computer-based information.
• Managing inbound diary for all customers.
• Controlling period end spreadsheets.
• Compiling lists of outstanding PODs and contacting the hauliers to request.
• Reporting the PODs outstanding each day.
