Job summary

Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is recruiting a Customer Service Team Leader for our Desborough site. You will lead the Transport Administration team, ensuring efficient admin support to transport operations and maintaining excellent customer service.

The role reports to the Transport Manager, with responsibilities across workload allocation, escalation handling and performance coaching. Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, full-time permanent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Transport Administration team to deliver high service standards.
• Allocate workloads and manage resources to meet operations and customer needs.
• Act as escalation point for customer, operational and admin issues.
• Manage customer communications, reporting, KPI production and service reviews.
• Oversee transport administration processes ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
• Manage POD processes and resolve missing documentation.
• Monitor team performance and conduct regular coaching and reviews.
• Plan absence and holidays to maintain continuity.
• Support Transport Supervisors and Managers to achieve objectives.
• Represent the business in customer meetings and SLA reviews.
