Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is recruiting a Transport Administrator for our Burton Latimer site on a full-time permanent basis. The role runs Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm, with a salary of £26,031 per year and responsibilities covering POD/Return processes, paperwork, and transport coordination to support site operations.

You will handle bookings, investigate queries, manage diaries, and maintain accurate data to help the site meet deadlines and service goals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.
• Good problem solving, analytical and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to manage own time to achieve targets.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the site by ensuring POD and Return processes follow policy.
• Book in collections and complete relevant paperwork for customers.
• Book in deliveries for customers and chase outstanding PODs.
• Investigate collection queries and liaise with depots and external contacts.
• Maintain paperwork and data, monitor POD workflow, and control period-end spreadsheets.
• Compile lists of outstanding PODs and contact hauliers as needed.
• Report PODs outstanding daily.
