Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking Night Support Workers to care for children and young people in our residential homes. You’ll be there during the night to support trauma moments, illness, or sleep issues, building trust and facilitating their pathways to a positive future.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) preferred; the employer will support studies.

Responsibilities

• Care for children and young people during night shifts in residential homes.
• Build rapport and provide support during crises or trauma episodes.
• Handle paperwork, cleaning and laundry tasks during quieter periods.
• Contribute to a positive routine that supports the child’s wellbeing and development.
