Job summary

The YOU Trust LTD in Weymouth invites applications for Night Worker - Young Lives. This permanent, part-time role (20 hours per week) offers a salary with night allowance and a supportive team environment.

You will help vulnerable young people develop independent living skills, work within PIE and safeguarding frameworks, and coordinate with local services to promote education, training and housing stability.

Qualifications

• Health and social care qualification or NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• Understanding of safeguarding for children and adults.
• Experience with young people and trauma-informed approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight support protecting safety and wellbeing.
• Maintain building security and respond to incidents.
• Help young people sustain accommodation and progress to independence.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in shared spaces.
• Work within PIE framework to support positive life changes.
