Job summary

Transforming Support is recruiting Male Night Support Workers for its supported living team in Chichester. You will support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs during the night, providing safe, respectful and consistent support.

Roles are full-time and permanent for male applicants meeting the essential requirements. Benefits include a discretionary £1,000 annual bonus, 28 days’ annual leave including bank holidays, and a fully funded enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications

• Be male due to privacy requirements for intimate care roles.
• Have at least six months’ experience in supported living or supporting people with learning disabilities, mental health needs or complex needs.
• Be available to work the full-time night rota, including alternate weekends.
• Already have the right to work in the UK for the contracted hours without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and practical support during the night with dignity and respect.
• Support evening, overnight and morning routines according to individual needs.
• Offer reassurance and respond calmly to changing needs.
• Support health needs and medication in line with training and procedures.
• Follow individual support plans and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate records and provide clear handovers with safeguarding in mind.
