Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Night Support Worker in England on a waking nights pattern (4 on / 4 off). Base salary advertised £30,849 - £33,896 with an attendance-related bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

You’ll help young people recover their childhood, support them through trauma or illness at night, and complete essential duties like paperwork, cleaning and laundry when quieter. A rewarding role with progression opportunities within WG.

Qualifications

• A ‘can do’ attitude – a team player who rolls up their sleeves to help others
• We genuinely care about our young people (and each other) so honesty and empathy is a must
• The resilience to be able to deal with challenging situations
• A full UK driving licence which you’ve held for at least 12 months
• If you don’t have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent), we’ll pay for you to study and support you every step of the way

Responsibilities

• Provide night-time care for residents and support during sleep issues.
• Build rapport and trust with young people to support their needs during the night.
• Carry out home tasks such as paperwork, cleaning and laundry as required.
• Support overall wellbeing and safety of young people during night shifts.
