Voyage Care is seeking a dedicated Night Support Worker for our Wallsend location. You will work night hours (10pm–8am) on a 35-hour contract and may cover sleep-in shifts as required to support a group of individuals in our ABI service at 52 Carville Road.

You’ll help residents gain independence, participate in social activities, and accompany them to local outings. Role requires resilience and a caring approach; prior care experience with adults, including acquired brain injury, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Hands-on care experience desirable.
• Willingness to work night shifts and sleep-in duties.

Responsibilities

• Help people gain more independence in daily life within a dynamic team.
• Assist with personal care and encourage community participation and activities.

Job description

Night Support Worker – Wallsend - £12.72 per hour
35-Hour Contract
Shifts are: Monday to Sunday, 10pm - 8am
This role would also involve working Sleep-in shifts as/when required - 10:00pm - 8:00am

Our ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) service, 52 Carville Road in Wallsend is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local restaurants or attending appointments, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
