Voyage Care is seeking genuinely caring Night Support Workers to join Riverway Lodge in Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees. You will support people throughout the night as part of a dynamic team, helping them live fuller lives and achieve personal goals.

You'll assist with daily living skills, personal care, community access and social activities, from bars to cinema, while DBS checks and training are provided. Benefits include enhanced pay for evenings/weekends and overtime rates.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support roles is preferred.
• Experience with neurological conditions or brain injuries is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice is desirable.

Job description

Rehabilitation Support Worker (Days) - 35 hours - Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees.

£13.22 per hour up to £14.72 per hour with overtime and nights/weekend enhancements (Ts & Cs apply)

Typical Shifts are: Monday to Sunday - 8:00am - 3:00pm and 3:00pm - 10:00pm.

As a night support worker with us, you'll be supporting people throughout the night, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

This role is to work at our brand new neurological behaviour service in Thornaby, Stockton-on-Tees - Riverway Lodge. This service will be a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days or nights will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.
