Job summary

Cygnet Chaseways in Sawbridgeworth is seeking a confident Night Support Worker to deliver high-quality care on a 42-hour weekly night shift (8:00pm–8:00am). You will support adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities, focusing on person-centred planning and safety, helping individuals maintain independence and progress on their care pathway.

You will be part of a community-based residential service with a range of benefits, including flexible overtime, coaching and supervision, and

Qualifications

  • DBS check required.
  • Experience in care setting preferred.
  • Flexible and reliable with a patient approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Provide enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for residents.
  • Offer guidance and support through physical and emotional care.
  • Learn individuals' needs and assist in the most suitable way.
  • Assist with medical and welfare needs as required.
  • Document and report on medical and welfare needs.
  • Safeguard residents and promote safety.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment for all.

We are looking for a confident Night Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You'll be working 42 hours a week (8.00pm to 8.00am ), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Chaseways. Located in the heart of the community in Sawbridgeworth, Chaseways is a residential service providing outcome focused care for adults with moderate / severe learning disabilities, who may have associated complex needs. Person-centred planning is at the heart of everything we do and we are able to meet the changing needs of people as they progress through their care pathway, while ensuring their safety is maintained and their independence supported.
