Job summary

Cygnet is seeking a confident Night Support Worker for Chaseways in Sawbridgeworth. You will work 42 hours per week from 8.00pm to 8.00am, providing person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities in a residential setting.

Applicants must be comfortable with night shifts and have a genuine desire to make a real difference in people’s lives. An enhanced DBS check is required, with benefits including discounts and ongoing development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for residents.
  • Offer physical and emotional support to residents.
  • Identify and respond to individual needs and preferences.
  • Assist with medical and welfare needs.
  • Document and report welfare and medical observations as required.
  • Maintain safeguarding and incident reporting as needed.
  • Keep a safe, clean environment for all residents.

We are looking for a confident Night Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

You’ll be working 42 hours a week (8.00pm to 8.00am ), making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Chaseways.

Due to the genuine occupational needs, and the demands of the service we are only able to accept Male applicants for this role.

Located in the heart of the community in Sawbridgeworth, Chaseways is a residential service providing outcome focused care for adults with moderate / severe learning disabilities, who may have associated complex needs.

Person-centred planning is at the heart of everything we do and we are able to meet the changing needs of people as they progress through their care pathway, while ensuring their safety is maintained and their independence supported.
