Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking a Night Support Worker to provide compassionate, around-the-clock care at Fairways in a Suffolk village. You will work 39.8 hours weekly on night shifts, delivering person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

The role emphasises safety, wellbeing, and empowering independent living while offering development opportunities through our apprenticeship scheme.

Responsibilities

  • Work 39.8 hours per week on night shifts in a residential care home.
  • Provide physical and emotional support to residents with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
  • Support individuals through personalised care plans and report on welfare needs as required.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean environment and safeguarding practices.
  • Engage with service users to empower independence and wellbeing.

We are looking for a confident Night Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

You’ll be working 39.8 hours a week (night shifts) at Fairways.

Located in a beautiful Suffolk village, Fairways supports adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs who may have behaviours that challenge. The home provides longer term placements for individuals who require round the clock care and support. Person-centred planning is at the heart of everything we do based on each individual’s specific need.

Your Day-to-Day…
  • You’ll be working 39.8 hours a week in residential care home with people with Learning Disability, Autism and with complex needs
  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all our service users, patients & residents
  • Provide guidance and encouragement through physical & emotional support
  • Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
