Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking compassionate Night Support Workers in Ditchingham to help individuals gain greater independence. You’ll work in a supportive team, enabling daily living activities, personal care, and community involvement.

You’ll engage in activities, outings, and social events, adapting to varied days while upholding care plans and safety. DBS and references are required; training and career progression are provided.

Night Support Worker - Ditchingham - £13.05 ph

Typical Shifts are: Monday - Sunday 9.30pm- 7.30am ( 10/13 hours per week - wake nights )

As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our supported living service is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

We're interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, ideally have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and people who may have experienced trauma.
