Job summary

Langley is seeking a compassionate Night Support Worker to join our Taunton team on a permanent, full-time basis. Shifts are 3 x 12.5 hours, totaling 37.5 hours per week, with weekend work. The role involves keywork support, care planning, and risk management to empower residents.

Responsibilities

  • Provide keywork support (including acting as Key Worker where required), maintaining accurate client records and using the Trust Client File to review progress and promote independence.
  • Contribute to a safe, well-run service by following medication procedures, supporting participation and client meetings/involvement (including complaints), supporting prospective/current residents, maintaining safe/tidy environments, and participating in rotas and team meetings.
  • Provide personal care as identified in care plans (including supporting with hygiene, dressing, continence care, mobility/moving and handling) and keep health-related records and care plans up to date.
  • Assess and manage risk and challenging behaviour, using client knowledge, planning and de-escalation, and maintain service security and situational/physical safety measures, liaising with relevant stakeholders as needed.

This is a permanent, full‑time position working 37.5 hours per week, where you’ll play a meaningful role in supporting our clients and contributing to our mission.
