Job summary

Voyage Care Langley, Hampshire is seeking a genuine, hands-on Male Night Support Worker to join our night-time care team. You will work with up to five adults, providing personal care and supporting nutrition and hydration, while maintaining a calm, dignified environment.

The role is night shifts on a two-week rota, with DBS checks and references required; we offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities to develop within a sector leading organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience with moving and handling is preferred.

Male Night Support Worker – Langley, Hampshire – £13.42ph

The shift pattern on a 2-week rota is as follows:

• Week 1 - 9:30pm - 7:30am: Monday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
• Week 2 - 9:30pm - 7:30am: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday

Our residential service in Langley is a welcoming and friendly environment! You will be working in the evenings as part of the night support team, alongside a sleep-in colleague supporting up to five adults and ensuring their individual needs are met through a person‑centred approach. The role involves providing high‑quality support with personal care, alongside supporting individuals with their nutrition and hydration needs. You will promote meaningful social and emotional interaction and engagement for those who are awake during night‑time hours, while also undertaking a range of domestic duties to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment, and ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene and overall presentation of the service throughout the night. Experience with moving and handling support would be preferential.
