Job summary

Care in Mind is seeking a Mental Health Waking Night Support Worker, Driver in Bromborough. You will support young people in a nightly setting, update records, administer medications, and provide handovers to day staff.

The role includes maintaining a tidy home and promoting wellbeing, education, and life skills, with on-call support for complex situations. The position is based at Southfield House in Bromborough, a 7-bedroom home with good transport links.

Qualifications

• Role involves night-time care for young people where previous care experience is not essential.
• You will update records and manage medication administration.
• You will learn and follow incident management and de-escalation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Update online care records and complete medication administration.
• Provide effective handovers to day staff.
• Maintain a clean, homely environment in the home.
• Support wellbeing, education, household tasks and life skills of young people.
• Manage incidents and de-escalate challenging behaviours.
• Work nights with another night worker or a sleep-in; access on-call manager for support.
