Job summary

Care in Mind is hiring a Mental Health Waking Night Support Worker for our Denton's Green home in St Helens. The role involves night shifts, weekends and bank holidays, with day training sessions as needed.

You will update online care records, support residents’ wellbeing and daily living tasks, and hand over to day staff. We value flexible, calm professionals with good written and verbal communication, basic IT skills, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work night shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
• Good written skills and the ability to write basic reports and record information accurately.
• Basic IT skills and ability to use an online care system and write emails.
• Good verbal communication and ability to listen to others.
• Maintain professional working boundaries and remain calm in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Update online care records and complete medication administration.
• Provide effective handovers to day staff.
• Support residents with daily living activities and routines.
• Assist with household tasks and maintaining a homely environment.
• Support residents’ wellbeing and engagement in activities.
