Job summary

Care in Mind is hiring a Mental Health Waking Night Support Worker at our Preston location. You will work night shifts (8.30pm–7.30am) including weekends and occasional bank holidays, providing care and support to young people aged 16–30 with mental health needs.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence and the ability to drive the service car unsupervised. Training is provided, and there are excellent benefits and development opportunities within the organisation.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK manual driving licence (not automatic).
• Good written skills and ability to write basic reports and record information accurately.
• IT skills including completing forms, using online care system and writing emails.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with wellbeing, education, household tasks and life skills.
• Update online care records and provide effective handovers to day staff.
• Assist with medication administration and ensure a tidy, homely environment.
