Job summary

Asda in Coventry is seeking a Night Manager to lead the night team and ensure the store runs smoothly while the world sleeps. You’ll drive strong availability, maintain floor standards across departments, and keep the store safe and compliant.

Working a rolling rota of 4 nights over 7 including weekends, you’ll oversee operations through the night and hand over to the day team, developing colleagues and delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, ideally overnight.
• Ability to make decisions independently with a hands-on attitude.
• Confidence in developing teams and managing change.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Flexibility to work a range of night shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the night team to keep operations running while the store is closed to the public.
• Oversee store operations during night shift and ensure compliance with safety and legal standards.
• Plan and execute the night shift activities to ensure stock availability and presentation.
• Ensure smooth handover to day team and maintain store standards.
