Pertemps Leicester on behalf of a well-established client is recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader to join the night shift in Burton-on-Trent. The role offers a permanent, full-time contract with a salary of £33,000-£35,000 per annum plus a night shift allowance.

You will lead a team of approximately 30 warehouse colleagues, drive performance against KPIs, and ensure high standards of safety, quality, productivity and service on the night shift.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a warehouse team.
• Experience working with KPIs and productivity targets.
• Strong communication and coaching ability.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to manage attendance, absence and conduct matters.
• Comfort using warehouse IT systems.

Responsabilités

• Leading, motivating and developing a team of ~30 warehouse colleagues.
• Driving performance against productivity, quality, attendance and service KPIs.
• Delivering shift briefings, setting clear expectations and maintaining communication.
• Monitoring team performance and addressing issues proactively.
• Managing workflow and allocating resources to meet demand.
• Supporting colleague development and managing performance, attendance and conduct.
• Maintaining effective shift handovers and communicating key updates.
• Promoting a strong health and safety culture and ensuring procedures are followed.
• Collaborating with other departments to resolve challenges and improve efficiency.
• Building a positive, engaged and high‑performing team culture.
