Job summary

Pertemps Leicester Industrial is seeking a proactive Warehouse Team Leader in Burton upon Trent to manage a night-shift operation from 22:00 to 10:00 and lead a team of around 30 colleagues.

This permanent, full-time role offers a salary of £33,000–£35,000 plus a night shift allowance, with a 4-on, 4-off pattern and opportunities to drive performance and health and safety culture across the site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and managing a warehouse team.
• Strong communication and people-management skills.
• Experience working with KPIs, performance data and targets.
• Ability to handle attendance, conduct and performance issues.
• Knowledge of health and safety in operational settings.
• Organisational skills and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of ~30 warehouse colleagues.
• Drive performance against productivity, quality, attendance and KPIs.
• Deliver shift briefings and maintain clear communication.
• Monitor performance and address issues proactively.
• Manage workflow and allocate resources to meet demand.
• Support development and manage attendance and conduct matters.
