Job summary

Kühne + Nagel is seeking a Warehouse Night Shift Team Leader in the United Kingdom to direct daily activities for a specified warehouse area, supervise operations and ensure proper processing of procedures. The role involves leading the team, managing performance, and owning operations in the Shift Manager's absence to deliver excellent service.

Key duties include overseeing inbound/outbound flows, managing manpower and equipment, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and KN Quality Management

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities for a warehouse team or area and supervise workflow.
• Support Shift Manager and lead the team to complete procedures for consistent service quality.
• Manage and own day-to-day operation in the absence of the Shift Manager.
• Oversee inbound/outbound cargo flows, manpower, equipment and inventory for cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, Quality Management System and customer SOPs.
• Promote continuous improvement and optimize processes and workloads.
