Job summary

OA is recruiting for a night shift Warehouse Team Leader to join our client's established warehouse operation in Watford. This permanent role requires an experienced warehouse professional with prior team leadership or supervisory experience, capable of leading and motivating a team to ensure safe, accurate and efficient day-to-day operations.

You will coordinate the warehouse team, allocate workloads, monitor performance and ensure targets and service levels are met, with hours 19:00–04:00,

Qualifications

Warehouse/logistics experience is essential.
Experience leading or supervising a team within a fast-paced operational environment is essential.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate and support warehouse employees to achieve operational targets.
Take responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the team.
Allocate work effectively according to workload, staffing levels and operational priorities.
Prioritise activities to ensure time-critical orders are processed and dispatched within required timescales.
Monitor workflow, productivity, quality, attendance and operational KPIs throughout the shift.
Ensure picking, packing, assembly, replenishment and dispatch activities are completed accurately and efficiently.
Promote cross-training and employee development within the team.
Carry out any other duties required to support the wider warehouse operation.
