Job summary

Nova Leisure Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to oversee a team of operatives, ensuring daily warehouse operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

You will supervise picking, packing, loading, and shipping, coach staff, manage performance, and drive improvements in processes, stock control, and health and safety compliance.

This role requires strong leadership, organisation, and communication, with experience using WMS and coordinating shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory controls, and health and safety standards.
• Good organisational and time management abilities.
• Proficiency with WMS or similar warehouse software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of warehouse operatives ensuring efficient, accurate picking, packing, and shipping.
• Monitor and coach team performance to meet productivity and quality targets.
• Allocate tasks based on workload and priorities for timely completion.
• Maintain accurate stock counts and proper stock rotation to minimise shrinkage.
• Communicate targets, updates, and process changes to the team.
• Identify and resolve operational issues; escalate major problems as needed.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Assist in planning shifts to ensure adequate coverage.
