Job summary

DPD Group is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to lead a depot night team and drive efficient parcel sortation in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee staff engagement, organise operations, and ensure targets for throughput, saturation, and safety are met.

Ideal candidates will have proven people management experience, strong communication, decisive problem solving, and the ability to analyse data for reporting.

Qualifications

Experience in a fast paced operation with direct accountability for motivating a high performing team.
Strong communication skills to inspire and manage a team.
Decisive, proactive problem solving and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

Oversee night depot operations and ensure engaged, organized and motivated warehouse operatives.
Ensure CAD% and depot throughput targets are achieved in line with KPIs.
Maintain safety, productivity and cost targets while delivering excellent service.
Resourcing additional staff at short notice in case of absence.
