Job summary
GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for a Bristol site to support the First Line Manager in delivering a safe, efficient, high-performing warehouse operation during the night shift.
You will coordinate workloads, deploy labour, and ensure safety, service and compliance while stepping up to cover management duties when required. The role requires leading shift activities, coaching teams, and maintaining strong communication with operational teams.
Qualifications
- Night shift role and schedule
- Experience in warehouse operations preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Coordinating labour and resources to meet shift priorities and customer requirements across the night shift.
- Supervising day-to-day warehouse activities to ensure productivity, quality, safety and service targets are met.
- Leading shift briefings, handovers and operational communications to keep teams informed and engaged.
- Carrying out safety observations, audits and supporting investigations into incidents.
- Providing coaching, guidance and management cover during First Line Manager absence or annual leave.
