Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Northampton seeks three Warehouse First Line Managers to lead a busy, MHE-heavy operation servicing 250+ stores.

You’ll coach a team of operatives, ensure accurate picking and despatch, and drive safety, quality and productivity on a rotating night shift (22:00–06:00) with 24/7 support when needed. Salary up to £33,850 plus £5,000 night premium, 25 days leave, pension, private medical and dental insurance, GP service, life reassurance, and access to GXO University for

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leadership role.
• Strong leadership style with the ability to coach, motivate and engage a team.
• Digital mindset with experience using warehouse management systems and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop your team to deliver safe, accurate and efficient shift performance across inbound and outbound operations.
• Ensure all warehouse activity is completed to the required standards, supporting high-volume case picking into cages.
• Monitor and drive performance against KPIs, taking action to manage productivity, quality and service levels.
• Support and enforce Health & Safety, compliance and standard operating procedures across your shift.
• Work closely with planning, systems and wider operational teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
