Job summary

CML in the UK is seeking a Transport Support Operator to join the Telford Transport team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role focuses on debriefing drivers and providing general admin support to the Transport team.

Working 4 on 4 off nights from 6pm to 6am, you will manage timesheets, PODs, despatch notes, driver ETAs to Customer Services, and maintain multiple spreadsheets to support operations. A strong eye for detail, reliable communication, and good MS Office skills are essential to

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Correctly debriefing drivers.
• Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
• Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system.
• Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.
• Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required.
• Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
• Downloading drivers’ cards / tachographs.
• Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
• Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.
• Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.
