Job summary

Chevron Traffic Management in Northampton is seeking Night shift Traffic Management Qualified Operatives. You will install, maintain and remove temporary traffic management equipment, undertake traffic counts, and help guide new trainees while working night shifts (weekend flexibility).

Qualified candidates will hold Full 12ab Lantra qualification, IPV, 12b LTMO or 12a Foreman, and an HGV licence, with a clean driving licence (max 6 points).

Qualifications

• Full 12ab Lantra qualification required.
• Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations.
• Full driving licence with no more than 6 points; bans must be 5+ years ago.
• Pass drug and alcohol screening (contingent on results).
• 12ab Lantra, IPV, and Foreman qualifications (LTMO/12a) are desired.
• HGV licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Hours: Night shifts - must be flexible to work weekends if and when required.

Your Role

• Undertake traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses
• Help and guide new trainees

What are we looking for?

Essential

• Qualifications: Full 12ab Lantra qualification
• Knowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations
• Driving Licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have expired at least 5 years ago
• Testing: Must pass a drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results)
• Attitude: Positive, "can-do" mindset
• Skills: Adaptability, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail
• 12b LTMO or 12a Foreman qualification
• IPV qualification
• HGV licence
