Job summary

Chevron Traffic Management in Northampton is seeking a Night Shift Operative Trainee to work on high-speed road environments with guaranteed hours and overtime opportunities.

You will train towards the 12AB qualification, install and maintain temporary traffic controls, and ensure safety for workers and the public during night shifts.

Qualifications

  • Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points).
  • Willingness to work night shifts.
  • Right to work in the UK unsponsored.
  • Good level of physical fitness and able to meet the physical demands.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain and remove temporary traffic management.
  • Set up cones, signs, barriers and safety equipment.
  • Keep roadworkers and the public safe at all times.
  • Communicate with colleagues, clients and control teams.

Job description

Role: Night Shift Operative Trainee Location:Northampton Hours: Night shifts

  • must be flexible to work weekends if and when required.

Pay: Potential earnings starting from £33,394 upto £50,091.60* per year with guaranteed hours + overtime opportunities Looking for a better-paid, more structured night shift role?

You don't need Traffic Management experience

  • we'll train you.

This role involves working on live, high-speed roads at night.

You will be operating close to moving traffic where strict safety procedures must be followed at all times.
