Job summary

Shaw healthcare is recruiting a Residential Night Team Leader for Figbury Lodge in Poole to support a dedicated team in delivering person-centred care to older residents, including those with dementia.

The role covers 20:00–08:00 shifts, with one 36-hour and one 48-hour contract available, remunerated at £15.19 per hour. Shaw Healthcare offers extensive development, employee ownership benefits and a broad range of staff rewards.

Qualifications

• Experience working with older people in residential care.
• Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.
• Flexible, patient, caring and well-organised; strong people skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on shift and support staff to promote best practice.
• Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies.
• Report changes in residents’ needs to the Line Manager promptly.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation.
