Job summary

Shaw healthcare (Group) Ltd in Poole is seeking a Bank Night Nurse to join Figbury Lodge. The role operates on a zero-hour contract with shifts from 20:00 to 08:00, and offers excellent support for work/life balance as part of our Real Living Wage commitment.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, assessing residents, and supporting a team dedicated to the wellbeing of our 60 residential and 20 nursing residents.

Qualifications

• Lead a team and analyse problems to propose improvements.
• Communicate effectively and build professional relationships.
• Understand IT systems relevant to nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' needs, develop and review care plans.
• Ensure medicines are received, stored and administered safely.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and risk management.
• Mentor and guide junior staff in line with NMC guidance.
• Liaise with visitors and external stakeholders.
