Job summary

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a passionate Residential Team Leader for Victoria House in Rushden. This role supports older people with physical frailty and dementia, delivering person-centred care on a 21-hour part-time basis.

You will lead on shift, supervise staff, and ensure safe medication administration, with shifts from 20:00 to 08:00. The service offers a supportive environment and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with older people in residential care.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent) in progress or completed.
• Flexible, patient, caring, organised, and good with people.
• Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice.
• Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures.
• Report changes in residents needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation.
