Job summary

Bloomcare Group's Lighthouse Care in Manchester is seeking an experienced Team Leader to supervise a team delivering person-centred care for adults with complex mental health and related needs. The role requires strong leadership, robust communication and the ability to manage rotas, ensure safe medication administration and uphold safeguarding standards.

We offer an hourly rate of £14.20, comprehensive induction, paid NVQ qualifications and a supportive environment with ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in health and social care, ideally supporting adults with mental health or complex needs.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• A compassionate, reliable and person-centred approach.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and confidently lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the service.
• Supervise and mentor care colleagues.
• Review care plans and key working responsibilities.
• Safe medication administration.
• Monitor care standards and complete audits.
• Manage staff rotas and support training and induction.
• Support individuals to access the community, attend appointments and achieve their goals.
• Promote safeguarding, health and safety, and best practice.
• Work closely with the General Manager and external professionals to deliver high-quality care.
• Support engagement in recovery programmes.
