Job summary

Belong is seeking a Care Team Leader for night shifts at our Birkdale site. You will lead the night care team, ensure residents receive person-centred care, and promote independence and wellbeing.

You will administer and oversee medication safely, maintain care records, and ensure up-to-date care plans. Strong leadership, communication and record-keeping are essential, as is a NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or working towards it.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a care setting.
• Holds an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards).
• Experience leading or supervising a team.
• Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the night care team and provide supervision.
• Administer and oversee medication safely and accurately.
• Maintain care records and keep care plans up to date.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to changing needs.
• Coach colleagues to deliver outstanding care.
