Job summary

Bloomcare is seeking a proactive Deputy Manager (Mental Health) to support the General Manager across our Prescot, Liverpool services. You will lead daily operations, supervise the team, and ensure high standards of care and governance to meet regulatory requirements.

You will mentor staff, drive service improvements, and build strong relationships with clients, regulators, and stakeholders, maintaining Bloomcare's compassionate, values-driven approach.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience in mental health service provision and team management.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Effective multitasking and prioritisation skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory and statutory requirements.

We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Deputy Manager (Mental Health) to lead our dual diagnosis service for addiction and mental health in Prescot, Liverpool.

The Role

As Deputy Manager, you will support the General Manager in the day-to-day operations, deputise in their absence, and oversee the direct supervision and line management of the team. Your goal will be to ensure the highest care standards, helping our clients make the most of every day.

Candidates must have a thorough understanding and positive attitude towards mental health and addiction issues, with proven experience in mental health social care.
