Job summary

Sainsbury's is hiring a Nightshift Manager to lead overnight replenishment and run store operations alongside a hands-on team. You’ll prioritise deliveries, manage the warehouse, and replenish shelves while ensuring safety and service readiness.

This role focuses on people leadership, coaching and delivering KPI targets. Night shifts run 22:00–08:00 with a £4,500 premium on top of base salary; it’s a full‑time four‑nights pattern with a strong benefits package including pension, share schemes

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and coach colleagues.
• Experience leading a fast-paced, customer-facing team.
• Taken responsibility for store operations in the absence of senior managers.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs (sales, availability, satisfaction).
• Experience managing employee relations, including performance and absence management.
• Desirable: night shift experience in high-volume operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight replenishment and organise deliveries, warehouse, and shelves.
• Oversee full store operations overnight and ensure safety of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are ready for morning service.
