Job summary

Meallmore Ltd is hiring a Nightshift Care Assistant at Airthrey Care Home near Falkirk. You’ll support residents with daily living, including washing, dressing and meals, delivering compassionate, person-centred care during night shifts.

Ideal candidates have a caring nature, strong communication, patience and the ability to work independently or with a team. SVQ level 2+ in Health and Social Care is preferred and fully funded.

Qualifications

• Caring, kind and patient disposition.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team and manage time.
• Willingness to undertake further training if needed.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living tasks (washing, dressing, meals).
• Promote residents’ independence and well‑being.
• Monitor health conditions and liaise with relatives and colleagues.
• Engage residents in activities aligned to their interests and needs.
